Prometheus Cave is a large limestone cave located in the Imereti region of western Georgia, approximately 20 km northwest of the city of Kutaisi. It was discovered in 1984 and opened to visitors in 2011.

The movements are controlled by a computer program that regulates the movements of the figures based on the time of day, weather, and the number of people around the monument. The figures symbolize the love story of Ali and Nino, the main characters in a famous novel of the same name by Azerbaijani author Kurban Said.
