The Hammetschwand Elevator is a scenic glass elevator located in Switzerland that transports visitors to the top of Hammetschwand Mountain. The elevator is situated near Lucerne, in the canton of Nidwalden, and is the highest exterior elevator in Europe. It was built in 1905 and has been a popular attraction ever since.

The elevator carries visitors up to a height of 1,132 meters (3,714 feet) in just under a minute, providing spectacular panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding Swiss Alps. It is operated by the Swiss Railway Company and is accessible from the Bürgenstock Resort via a funicular railway.
