The church has a central nave with a small dome above it, flanked by two smaller chapels. The area is also popular for sunbathing, picnicking, and relaxing. There are several beer gardens nearby where visitors can grab a cold drink or a bite to eat after watching the surfers.

The English Garden is a large public park in Munich, Germany, stretching over an area of about 910 acres (370 hectares). Created in 1789 by Sir Benjamin Thompson, an American-born British physicist and inventor, the park is one of the largest urban public parks in the world, even larger than New York City's Central Park.

The English Garden is also home to several man-made streams and small waterfalls, including the Schwabinger Bach, a 3-kilometer (1.9-mile) long man-made stream that flows through the park and provides an important habitat for local wildlife. Visitors can rent boats and paddle around the park's many small lakes and waterways.
