El Cajas National Park is a protected area located in the Andes of southern Ecuador. It covers an area of 285 square miles (741 square kilometers) and ranges in elevation from 9,200 to 14,000 feet (2,800 to 4,300 meters). The park is known for its high-altitude grasslands, rugged terrain, and numerous lakes and lagoons, including the namesake Cajas Lake.

The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Andean fox, spectacled bear, Andean condor, and several species of hummingbirds. Visitors can also see a number of plant species, including the chuquiragua, a plant known for its yellow flowers.

El Cajas National Park offers visitors a range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, horseback riding, and camping.
