Godafoss Waterfall is a waterfall located in the northern part of Iceland in the Bárðardalur valley. It is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland and one of the most popular tourist attractions. The waterfall got its name from the Icelandic word "Godi" which means chieftain and "foss" which means waterfall. The waterfall is about 12 meters high and 30 meters wide and is located on the Skjálfandafljót River.
