Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, also known as the Ulun Danu Temple, is a beautiful and iconic temple complex located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the highlands of Bali, Indonesia. The temple complex is dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of water, fertility, and prosperity in Balinese Hinduism.

The temple complex is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Bali, attracting thousands of visitors every year. The complex features several shrines, pavilions, and temples, as well as beautifully landscaped gardens and pools filled with colorful carp and lotus flowers.

One of the most iconic features of the Ulun Danu Temple is its towering multi-tiered meru tower, which is considered a symbol of the godhead and is used for offerings and prayers. Visitors to the temple can take a scenic boat ride across the lake to reach the complex, and the views of the surrounding highlands and the lake are simply breathtaking.

In addition to its religious significance, the Ulun Danu Temple is also considered a masterpiece of Balinese architecture and engineering. The temple was built in the 17th century, and its intricate carvings, ornate sculptures, and beautifully crafted structures are a testament to the skill and creativity of the island's master artisans.
