Wadi Shab is a popular outdoor destination located in Oman, about 2 hours drive from the capital city of Muscat. It is a canyon-like valley with turquoise waters, natural pools, waterfalls, and narrow gorges surrounded by towering rock formations. The wadi is a popular destination for hiking, swimming, cliff jumping, and exploring the natural wonders of Oman.

The hike through Wadi Shab takes around 45 minutes to an hour to reach the first pool, which is surrounded by rocks, cliffs, and trees. Visitors can swim in the crystal clear waters, explore the shallow caves, and climb the rocks for stunning views of the valley. The second pool is located after a 10-15 minute swim through a narrow gorge and offers a more secluded and tranquil experience.

Wadi Shab is also home to a variety of wildlife such as mountain goats, fish, and birds. Visitors are advised to respect the environment and leave no trace behind.

The best time to visit Wadi Shab is from October to April, when the weather is cooler and the water levels are high. However, it can still be visited during the summer months, but visitors should be prepared for hot and humid conditions.
