Shady Hollow

The Texas State Capitol is the capitol building of the U.S. state of Texas and is located in Austin, Texas. It was completed in 1888 and is the sixth building to serve as the capitol of Texas.

The building is an iconic symbol of Texas and is considered one of the most distinctive state capitol buildings in the United States. It is made of pink granite and stands 307 feet tall, making it the tallest capitol building in the country.
